Jeff Harmon is the founder and president of TFL Worldwide, a business-coaching firm that specializes in teaching financial leadership. Jeff is a Certified Human Behavior Consultant and former Certified Public Accountant who provides a unique style and perspective to relational accounting and success in business.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1988. After obtaining his CPA license in 1990, he returned to graduate school and obtained his Masters of Taxation degree. Jeff worked several years in public accounting as an employee before he knew it was time to establish his own certified public accounting firm. He did, and the business was a success! The firm served the financial and tax needs of over 150 business clients as well as 500 individual clients.
While the experience of owning and operating the CPA firm was rewarding, Jeff decided to sell the firm in 2004 when he realized that many people want the rewards of business ownership but most are unsure if they can make it. Driven by the desire to help other people and convinced that the ability to successfully own and operate a business is a skill, and a skill is a learned behavior, the vision for TFL Worldwide was born.
He decided to build a company that would focus on teaching the skill sets required to successfully own and operate a business. A company focused on teaching business owner mentality - that company is Teaching Financial Leadership Worldwide. A company whose purpose was and still is a worthwhile dream. A goal worth attaining. While Jeff believes that business is exciting and rewarding, it pales to the true joy found in building a strong marriage and raising a loving family. Jeff and his wife Patti have been married for over 18 years and are the proud parents of six children. They have five sons, Zane, Banks, Cade, Ian, and Chase. The newest arrival, a beautiful daughter, Taryn.
